Healing Together
Addressing and preventing lateral violence
Program Overview
Healing Together is a gentle, trauma-informed 5-day workshop designed specifically for First Nations adults and community members. This program creates a safe, respectful space to explore lateral violence — where it comes from, how it shows up in our lives, and how our communities can begin to heal and move forward together.
The workshop approach is First Nations-focused and culturally respectful, trauma-informed and non-judgmental, discussion-based, reflective, and practical. It is focused on healing, understanding, and prevention — not punishment.
Participants leave with practical tools for conflict resolution, respectful communication, and strategies for building healthy, supportive relationships grounded in respect and empathy.
